Personality: Kota is a quiet type of person, keeps things bottled up but when she gets to her breaking point she will go off, stays out of situations unless she is really needed. Its hard for her to trust people because of her past. She does not like it when people try to pry. If she is in an enclosed space for a long period of time she will start to fidget and try to get out as soon as she possibly can.
Kota loves to read and looking at the stars. Her dislikes are large crowds, loud people and those who pry. She shys away from people because of her powers, there was an incident when she was in the orphanage she was ignored and ostrisized.
She also takes Ninjitsu/martial arts classes; the reason for the classes were so that she did not have to think about why she was being ignored and the hurtful comments that the other children in the orphanage say about her.
Kota normally had headphones in her ears, wore clothes that were dark in color, with splashes of red somewhere in her wardrobe, her hair braided and wore a black and red beanie.
History: When Kota was born she was abandoned to an orphange in Los Angeles, California. There was a note with a name on it Dakota Lee Furr , the local authorites did look to see if they could find anyone with the last name of Furr, but no such luck. At the age of 3 years old, Kota's powers started to manifest. She would answer questions or make comments about things that were not asked aloud by the caretakers. At 5 years of age Kota had talked to multiple
shrinks and doctors but there was no explanation on what was wrong with her. At the age of 7 years, she was a lonley child. The other children did not want to play with her, they said that she cheated in games and was weird. Due the issues that she was having at the orphanage she decided to not interact with the others and focus on studying to get a scholarship so that she can get away. She also took martial arts and ninjutsu to learn how to protect herself, and to keep from thinking.
In her spare time when she was not studying or doing martial arts she was learning about the Power Rangers and what types of creatures that they fought against. She was also constantly listening to music so that she could ignore what everyone else was thinking. She became obssesed with the Power Rangers and their history. It was a distraction to the lonliness that was growing. When she was 13 years old, a group of the children and her were attacked by a group of Putties while they were on an outing for school. The adults were not going to be able to protect the children and there were no Time Force Agents nearby. So Kota helped protect the other children by fighting against the Putties and she was able to defeat them. Kota turned to see if the others were ok and they shied away from her; all she was doing was trying to protect the others. The adults scolded her for not listening to their orders and disobying what they said. Kota did not fit in where she was at.
At the age of 15 years, Kota applied for emancipation from the orphanage and the caretakers signed off on the form. She knew that they were happy to be away from her. She decided that she was going to go to Angel Grove, the Birth place of the OG Power Rangers. During her Freshman year she constantly listened to Music, studied, worked and martial arts. Kota kept a low profile at school, she did not talk to anyone. Her grades were really good, she needed to make sure that they were so, she was on her own and needed to make sure that she was able to care for herself. While at school she did 'hear' about the Oliver Twins, they were decendants of Tommy and Kim Oliver; the original White and Pink Rangers.
During Kota's Sophmore year things changed for her. On her way to school she noticed that a girl was being attacked by a tenga. And she intervened by using her telekinetic ability to move the tenga away from the girl and fought off the tenga protecting the girl; the girl thanked her for saving her. Kota didn't know what to say, she told the girl that she helped because it was the right thing to do. What she didn't realize was that she was being watched and that she was no longer invisable. Someone had seen her protect that girl from the tenga.
That someone was Cole Oliver, and she had no idea that things were going to change for her. She was going to get an oppurtunity to become a Power Ranger. After school, she was approached by Cole Oliver and asked to follow him, he wished to talk to her about something. Kota was skeptical about following him, but she felt that she should.
