Personality: If you were to ask Hana Winston, she would say that she has a bubbly personality 99.9% of the time. She is very lively and animated. When she gets excited she will use her hands while she talks about something that she is very passionate about. People have fun being around Hana due to her friendly, loving and carefree attitude. When her sister Naomi and her husband Nicholas had the twins, Cole and Chloe, she become their biggest supporter outside of their parents. The way that Nicholas sometimes treated Naomi and the twins did not sit well with Hana. She disliked him somewhat for the way that he treated his family. But that made her want to do things for and with the twins even more.
There are times that Hana can be a klutz. If she starts to read a book and get to focused into she would walk into doors and objects. Or if she gets to focused into a shoot she will trip over her own feet, forgetting that they are there at all. Hana is confident in herself even though there are those who would call her a klutz. She like who she has grown to become and she wouldn’t change herself.
History: While growing up Hana found a love and passion for reading and photography. When she found a book that peeked her interest she couldn’t put it down until she finished it. She would walk into chairs, doors, walls and other objects while she was reading. Sometimes she would trip over her own feet and drop whatever she happened to be carrying at the time. The other children were not nice and called her klutz, but she never let that get to her. Hana was always happy and friendly to anyone that would let her be so.
During her final year in Elementary School, she found out that her big sister, Naomi, was pregnant with Nicholas Oliver’s children. There was something about Nicholas that Hana did not like; to her he seemed not so friendly. But she never voiced her dislike for him; she saw the way her sister looked at him with love in her eyes and she did not want to hurt her sister. Hana was happy for Naomi and couldn’t wait for the babies to be born. The twins were born on June, 10th the day after she turned 10 years old; even though Hana was only 10 years old she was going to dote on them whenever she was allowed to do so.
As soon as Middle School started, Hana joined the School Newspaper as a journalist and photographer. She mostly wrote reviews on School events and books that she read. When not taking photos for the School Newspaper, she would photograph the twins; she also started making home movies. When the twins started crawling, talking and even learned to walk. For the twins’ first birthday she made them stuffed animals. She saw that Cole was very protective of Chloe and showed great determination; so she made him a white Falcon stuffed animal that had his name on it. Chloe showed a balance and grace to whatever she did and so she made a pink Crane with Chloe’s name on it. By the End of Middle School, Hana had taken tons of photos and videos of the twins so she started making them their own little books, to give to them when they were older. During her time in Middle School, Hana had won prizes and competitions for some of her photos that ranged from Abstract to Wildlife.
At 13 years old she entered into Angel Grove High School; she immediately joined the School Newspaper. Hana spent most of her time with the twins, on the school Newspaper, photography and studying. And that is how her High School years went until her junior year; when she received full paid scholarships for both Literature and photography. She was even allowed to start on her degree courses. At which point, Hana focused on studying. She did help out with the Newspaper occasionally and still spent time with the twins. During her senior year she stepped back from the College courses and focused on getting a job. Oddly enough her job was working for a Newspaper and taking photos; she was still on the school newspaper.
Hana started to take the twins with her to the events that she was requested to take photos and write articles about. She would also take them both to the Comic Book store and Library to pick out books and movies that they each liked. She would spend individual time with Cole and Chloe; trying to find what they gravitated to. After her 17th birthday Hana graduated from Angel Grove High and focused on her degree’s and job. But she always made time to spend with Cole and Chloe. Friday nights she would take them both out together and spend time with them both, be it at the movies, events or dinner. On Saturdays she would spend that time with Chloe be it going to the Comic Book store or Library to pick up a new read. Or going to Gymnastics competitions and taking photos and videos. Sundays she spent her day with Cole. She would go to his martial arts competitions and take him to the skate park where she would also take videos and pictures. Sunday nights though were movie nights for them. They would pick a movie that one or the other heard about or something they both liked and would watch it.
When Hana turned 21 years old she started to take courses to become a teacher. She wanted to share her love of literature and photography with those who were younger than her. Hana wanted to become a teacher that was engaging, funny and inspiring. That the students would come up to and be confident in the choices that they would make. At the Age of 26 years old, Hana became a Literature and Photography teacher at Angel Grove High School. It was also the year where Nicholas, was being tougher on Naomi, Cole and Chloe. She was not happy about that but she tried to make it up to them. Two months after the twins turned 17, Nicholas Oliver passed away. There was a massive attack on the city and he died, trying to save people. Hana was there and she would support Naomi, Cole and Chloe, she would do anything to help them, that was how much she loved and cared for them. She did not suspect or even know that her sister or the twins were Power Rangers.
