History: Cole was born a Blonde Fraternal twin just a few minutes behind his sister Chloe Oliver to one Time Force agent Nicholas Oliver and a waitress Naomi Oliver. What Nicholas knew that his wife did not since he was a member of the Time Force working closely with high command was that his children along with himself were direct decedents of the Great Thomas Oliver and Kimberly Oliver two of the original six Power Rangers to ever appear on Earth. In order to honor this legend Cole Received the middle name of Thomas. What Nicholas didn't know was that not just one but both of his children would go on to change the world and carry the very mantles that their ancestors had left behind.
Even as a small child Cole Thomas Oliver carried the adventurous spirit of the man he was named after taking risks that the other children would not like trying to climb to the very top of the monkey bars and hang upside down though his favorite activity was the swing set. Cole would do his best no matter how difficult or how dangerous it was for the young toddler to try and swing as high as he possibly could get. In these moments of courage and daring his father could swear that he could see a faint white glow coming from his son as he preformed such a daring feat. Seeing much promise in the boy Nicholas began showing his son footage of the Power Rangers through out history fighting to keep the world safe while making sure never to reveal their secret identities yet. Cole quickly became almost obsessed with the multi-colored teams of heroes to the point where when he turned 10 he began to take classes at the high tech but long standing youth center in kick boxing and seemed to pick it up rather quickly. It was around this time that Cole discovered extreme sports more specifically skateboarding as during one of work outs he spotted the famous X-games on a nearby T.V as the skateboarding event took place. Seeing the skaters fly so high even without wings made Cole want to do it for himself. To that end for his and his sisters 11th birthdays he asked for his very own skateboard. Seeing promise in his son's budding physical abilities the young boy got his wish plus a little something extra. His father seeing promise in both of his children he gave his son a special Time Force Branded laptop and told him what a blog was and that it might be good for him to start one and with that the hero that was the future White Mighty Morphin Power Ranger began to form.
Over the next two years as Cole and his sister entered middle school Cole began to truly shine both in the skate park and out of it as whenever he wasn't practicing his skateboarding he would either be at Ernie's where his mom worked eating and working on his blog, at school partially slacking off in some classes like math and science but doing great in classes like literature or junior electronics and robotics as well as Gym or being at the youth center practicing his martial arts. It was around this time that Cole began to further establish his own identity away from his twin by dressing in darker clothing and dying his hair black so that they were not both blonde. He didn't do this out of spite but out of the fact that with his sisters budding looks and her intelligent personality he knew she was sure to become popular and have all the eyes on her. That wasn't the kind of attention Cole wanted. He wanted to be known for his deeds and not his looks and so he began to wear a rather baggy jean jacket and a grayish white beanie and began carrying headphones with him so that people wouldn't bother him while he was working out,on his homework or on his blog. This gained him the reputation of being the stand off power ranger obsessed computer nerd and so he was left alone in his favorite booth at his favorite diner unless he was at the skate park where he welcomed the attention.
This would quickly change the summer before he and his sister entered high school as freshman. Cole was at the skate park on a hot summer Skating in the parks deepest bowl trying to build up both speed and height as one of his few friends named Trevor who happened to be Autistic and had chosen Cole as his one and only friend due to their mutual distaste of being crowded around was standing up with an old school looking digital camera on a tripod took fast shots of it all when Cole finally achieved one of his dreams. He reached the clouds! The young teen had done about 10 laps around the bowl to gain speed and then four back and fourths to gain height until it finally happened after years of practiced and falls! The young Cole Thomas Oliver flew about 12 feet in the air and spread out all four limbs while holding his board in his right dominant hand. When this happened unknown to Cole the white glow his fathers had seen years ago reappeared but this time it fully manifested in the shape of a falcon until Cole landed back in the bowl and exited. Luckily the only person to see it was Trevor thanks to the sun or so it appeared was Trevor geeking out which was very unlike the teen and so Cole quickly rushed over and looked at the photo's of the falcon's aura forming. Remembering it from his computer files on past rangers Cole quickly moved over to where he sat his backpack with his laptop and went to pull it out until a young Time Force agent who was undercover who had been tailing Cole and saw the aura walked up and shoved poor Trevor to the ground along with his tripod. This was an act that Cole would not leave lying down as he saw his friend frantically checking his camera for damage on his knees.
Cole quickly stood up grabbing his board and walked up to the supposed bully and told him that he had no back bone picking on someone that couldn't stand up for themselves and that if he wanted to pick on someone he should try him on for size. He then dropped his skateboard onto it's wheels and rested his left heel on it with a glare mixed with a cocky grin. As the bully went to throw a punch Cole stomped on his board causing it to fly up in front of the bullies fist so that the undercover agent hit the back of his board instead of his target. As the agent recoiled gripping his hurt hand Cole quickly grabbed his board and knelt down and used it to sweep the agents feet out from under him causing him to start to fall. Before the agent fell however Cole caught him by the shirt and pulled him in close and told him that if he ever picked on his friend again his face would meet the deepest end of the deepest skate bowl. As Cole let the man go for just a moment his eyes glowed white which was exactly what the undercover agent wanted to see. Even though he didn't know it yet Cole Thomas Oliver possessed the ancient spirit of the Ninjetti falcon just like his ancestor before him.
It didn't take long for phone and video camera footage to circulate of not only Cole's skate stunt but also the defending of his friend so when Cole started his freshman year his blog had exploded in both views and comments a lot of them saying that he should join the high schools virtual newspaper as a freshman. Cole was at first dismissive but then he thought back to standing up for his friend and decided that not only would it be a challenge but also a way to try and protect those who couldn't defend themselves from the vicious rumor mill that was high school. Like most things Cole seemed to thrive at this challenge and even helped debunk a few rumors that could have ruined a few peoples high school careers. It was these acts that got Cole his very own Column on the virtual paper which he dubbed "The ranger report" Where he would talk about the latest exploits of not only Time Force but also S.P.D and the rangers as a whole. This not did not go unnoticed by either his father who had been promoted to one of the head of Time Forces top five captains but the head himself who had also been watching Chloe and her talents,achievements and growth through out the years. Little did the pair know that when they would go to start their Sophmore year they would be faced with the hardest test of their lives.
The day before their Sophmore year started both Chloe and Cole were picked up by Time Force agents at their respective hang outs of the comic book store and the skate park respectively. On the way they were assured that their father was fine but that they were about to face the biggest test they'd ever take and that their lives were about to change forever. Once they arrived at the main HQ for the Time Force they were lead inside to the main strategy room and were greeted by both their father and the commander of the Time Force organization. Before Cole had the chance to geek out or ask any questions his and Chloe's father admitted that he had been keeping a secret from them their entire lives. He then pulled up images of the original six mighty morphin power rangers and pulled up the names of the White Ranger and the pink Ranger "Thomas Oliver" and "Kimberly Oliver-Hart" and explained that their family were not only direct decedents of two power rangers but were the decedents of two of the six that started it all! This was when Cole began to geek out until the commander stopped him by saying that the universe was in such imminent danger that not even the combined might of the Time force rangers could stop it on their own.
The commander explained that a mysterious force was reviving the great evils of the past which had pushed Time Force into activating the "Rebirth protocol" where they were using their technology to revive and upgrade past ranger teams powers,weapons and zords but that was just step one. The commander went on to explain that that was just step one. He continued by saying that step two was finding either decedents of past rangers or just worthy successors since the only two rangers of the past they could take out of their time period were the red time force ranger and the quantum ranger without messing with history. This was when Cole and Chloe's father stepped up and explained that the time force had been watching the two of them their entire lives through him and that he had recommended them as the rightful heirs of the White and Pink Ninjetti mighty morphin power coins of the Falcon and the Crane respectfully. Their dad then pulled up videos of both of his children at their various activities be it Cole's martial arts and skateboarding or Chole's gymnastics and studious nature. He then finished by saying that they would have to pass one final test not of their design but the powers themselves. Their father then gave his children the morphers containing the white and pink power coin and led them down to a training area where holograms of putties and tenga's waited on the other side of the door. He then told them that they could take the test either together or seperately. Despite wanting to show the leader of Time Force what he was made of Cole just looked at his sister and said a single word with a nod. "Together." Their father then instructed them that if the powers chose them the coins would glow and when they did all they had to say was "It's morphin time!" then their color and then "Ninja ranger power now" or "ranger power." Cole nodded and squeezed his sisters hand and gave her a confident smile before walking into the room with her. As soon as they entered the holograms attacked and so he stood back to back with his sister and did his best to take out as many putties as he could using his kick boxing style. It was then that his coin and morpher glowed showing that he had passed the test and he uttered the words that would change his life forever.
"It's morphin time!: White Ranger Power!"
Within seconds Cole was turned into the White mighty morphin power ranger and quickly dispatched with the putties while his sister dispatched with the tenga's. They had reached their destiny's together as a team just like the rangers before them. They were no longer just Chloe and Cole Oliver anymore. They were the heir's of two of the most legendary Power Rangers of all time!
PersonalityCole is of the rather intelligent sort. He can often be seen reading large books,comic books or even the daily paper on his trusty laptop as well as maintaining his own blog about his Heroic icon the Time Force Power Rangers. When not on his computer Cole can be found at the local skate park in it's deepest bowl to try and get as much air as he possibly can or trying the most dangerous yet rewarding stunts he can think of despite his sisters protests. The reason for his thrill seeking nature stems back all the way to 1993 when the first ever sighting of the Earth's protectors the power rangers took place.
The power rangers of both the past and present have very much molded who Cole became as a person growing up. Despite his risk taking and all or nothing attitude toward life Cole often does his best to do the right thing be it stepping in between a bully and their victim or using his computer skills and blog to correct or debunk rumors toward others that he doesn't even know. Like all people however he does have his faults. His all or nothing approach to life can sometimes paint a target on his back when he is trying to do something good without thinking it all the way through. Out of the Oliver Twins Cole is the one more prone to picking a fight if someone were to disrespect him,his sister or by dissing the power rangers. When not at the skate park or at school he can often be found at the new High tech Ernie's diner in his favorite window booth writing his blog and munching on unhealthy food (to the aggravation of his sister) Deep down inside all of him he has the spirit of the falcon Just and able just like his decedent Tommy Oliver.
To those who don't know him very well they would say that he himself like his best friend has some form of autism due to his shyness, dislike for being crowded and fondness for routines but this is not the case. The reason he chooses to stay in the same routine on an almost daily basis is because he feels that it brings an element of normalcy to his life that having his secret identity discovered,being robbed of his routines or being the center of attention when not behind a mask or helmet would rob him of that. It is why he chose to join the schools digital newspaper instead of it's television news station. Keeping his face away from the spotlights of fame keeps his routines in tact and his life despite the constant of saving the world somewhat normal. Believe it or not the Daredevil of the Oliver twins is a rather shy teen especially when it comes to women who aren't his sister. He knows he needs to interact but he doesn't have the same social skills his sister does and so things like asking a girl he likes on a date can be proven difficult. It is one of the things that he sees as a challenge and wants to work on improving on.
