Personality: Karyn is a little shy and slow to open up around people due to being in a whole new world and not being too sure if she. Being recruited to travel to a alternate dimension where humanity was not almost wiped out has made her a little curious of how this world is different from her own. She also has a habit of over-thinking things. After issues when she was young with others not trusting her due to her intellect she tends to play down how smart she is when she first meets people.
She feels a little unsure around the whole concept of Time Force since there's a nagging thought in her mind that if they can travel dimensionally and temporally why didn't they do something to stop Venjix. She has pondered the option of using a mix of the dimensional transit she invented and Time Force technology to go back and stop the Venjix invasion (especially after she learned the role one of her ancesters played in causing the Venjix global assault)..
History: Karyn was born in the area known as Corinth in a parallel universe where a renegade computer virus almost wiped out humanity. Karyn can claim a genetic lineage going back to two of the defenders who defeated Venjix. It was discovered at a early age that she was posessed of far above average intelligence and was placed into special training. By the time she was 20 she had been working on several projects, namely working on a more advanced version of the Ranger Series morphers and working on a way to replicate the reported instances where the Rangers from her world travelled to a parallel dimension where Venjix didn't nearly wipe out humanity.
While working on the project Karyn was summoned to the head of the project she was working for. Doctor Truman informed her that they had received a message from the other dimension, requesting assistance from her worlds Rangers. Karyn pointed out that there were no Rangers any more. Dr. Truman smiled and handed her the red series morpher. She would help the other dimensions forces in return for any assistance that could be provided for her Earth, still recovering from Venjix, 1000 years later.
After bonding with the Ranger Series 1 morpher, Karyn agreed to take the morphers with her but leave the dimensional gate in a ready state for her team-mates to follow her. Fighting back nerves and a fear that she was leaving what few friends she had, Karyn made the trip to the alternate dimension.
